Are you listening, My Son?

It was 4:15 am and I had just woke up. I was standing in the shower with all the lights off and the sun had not yet risen. I was confronted by the brightest light I had ever seen. And the light came up through my feet and out through my head. It was at that time that God revealed to me an image of the sacred Torah along with a complete outline as to what I was to do for Him. It was at that time I was directed to give all of our belongings away and to follow Him. I saw an image of me and my family traveling in our van and being bold and sharing our story and the message of the Gospel with everyone we met along the way. I was shocked from the bottom of my feet to the tip of my head my hair stood up and I started to cry for I felt so unworthy and why me. Earlier on in my life I was called two times before and never listened. Today I listened I have been obedient and now I’m learning to be trusting. For this has been the most challenging year I have ever had to deal with in my life. At age 51, I’m now learning to have trust and listen. The most exciting experience has been the growth in my relationship with my most amazing wife and God has blessed us with the most incredible children.
