Using Golf As a Springboard to
Make a Positive Impact on the World

THE BIG PICTURE

Why do I do what I do? While it all starts with golf, the impact I strive to achieve goes much further than that.

My goal is to use golf, outdoorsmanship, woodworking, coaching, mentoring, creating fellowship and everything else I do as opportunities to spread positivity and love in the world.

My mission is to use my talents and skills to help and inspire men to take the necessary steps to become “warriors.” What are warriors? Men of character who live their lives with the highest values and enjoy the benefits of having a strong mind, healthy body and overall balance. To implement this mission, I have designed my coaching programs and ministry so that they transform participants’ lives both on and off the golf course.

THE BACK STORY TO MY COACHING PRACTICE

In 1996 my golf career looked bright when I missed the US Open Qualifier by only one shot. But just three weeks later I was involved in a freak accident, leaving me with a broken wrist and shattered dreams. After five different doctors suggested surgery and left me no hope of playing the game again, I left for Asia to explore other opportunities.

While abroad I met a Chinese doctor who healed my wrist using ancient Chinese medicine and holistic techniques. Within four months I was playing golf pain-free and shortly after I was playing golf competitively. I quickly found success on the Thai Saga Tour, finishing 27th on the Order of Merit and establishing a World Asia Ranking of 519.

Through this personal healing transformation I realized the key to success as a tour player is to master the game with your mind. I began developing my golf coaching program so I could help other players improve their game, too.

Drawing upon principles from my extensive training in martial arts and yoga, my coaching clients saw immediate results. I have spent the past 25+ years refining my holistic teaching methods and Mind-Body-Balance philosophy, which have opened my clients to amazing success both on the course and in life.

MY PASSION FOR WOODWORKING

My grandfather was a master carpenter and painter. I remember being in awe of his abilities, watching with amazement as he turned stacks of lumber into incredible works of art. I was thrilled when—at the age of 10—he offered to teach me the craft!

While I am not currently accepting commissions, over the years I have made many pieces that I am proud to share with you here.
